for AO Planner Companion App
This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, stored, accessed, and disclosed when you use the AO Planner Companion App (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the App and governs data handling practices related to app functionality, subscriptions, and account management.
2. Information Collected
2.1 User-Generated Content
The App allows users to create, store, and manage content, including but not limited to notes, events, planner entries, schedules, and preferences. This content is associated with your account and remains your property.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
The App automatically collects limited technical and operational data necessary to operate and improve the service, including:
- Device type and operating system
- App usage events required for core functionality
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
This information is collected via third-party services such as Google Firebase and is not used for advertising or behavioral profiling.
2.3 Payment Information
The App does not collect or store payment card or billing information. All payments are processed by the applicable app marketplace.
3. Subscriptions and Entitlements
Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription status, trial eligibility, and entitlement validation are managed using RevenueCat.
The App receives limited, non-financial subscription metadata such as entitlement status or renewal state solely for the purpose of enabling or restricting access to paid features.
4. Use of Information
Information collected through the App is used exclusively to:
- Provide, maintain, and operate core App functionality
- Enable subscription access and restore purchases
- Improve stability, performance, and security
- Respond to support requests and technical issues
Data is not used for marketing, advertising, or cross-app tracking.
5. Data Access Controls
Access to user data is restricted and controlled as follows:
- Automated systems access data only as required to deliver app functionality, sync content, and validate subscriptions.
- Authorized support or administrative personnel may access limited user data solely for troubleshooting, support, or maintenance purposes, and only when necessary.
- No access is granted for marketing, analytics unrelated to app performance, or non-operational purposes.
All access is governed by internal access controls and logging where applicable.
6. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure and protected by reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. Data transmission occurs over encrypted connections.
While industry-standard security measures are used, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.
Information may be processed by trusted third-party service providers strictly as necessary to operate the App, including:
- Google Firebase (cloud hosting, diagnostics, crash reporting)
- RevenueCat (subscription and entitlement management)
These providers operate under their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.
8. Data Retention
User data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App’s services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on data type, operational requirements, and account status.
9. Data Deletion and Account Requests
Users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time.

Requests are verified and processed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days, unless retention is required by law or operational necessity.
